Frame SelectionWhen choosing a frame for MiYOSMART glasses, we recommend having as much of the treatment zone centred inside of the frame as possible. Maximising the treatment of your glasses is our top priority when helping you with your dispense. Rounder frames are recommended with the aim to fit the whole honeycomb treatment zone.

Sunglasses or Photochromatic
MiYOSMART offers patients the ability to have sunglass options for their treatment lenses as well, providing sun protection while outdoors. Patients currently on Atropine are strongly recommended to consider HOYA's tinted range of MiYOSMART as the pupil becomes dilated on this treatment. This can lead to increased glare and light sensitivity.
Tinted MiYOSMART lenses also allow children and teenagers to experience an appropriate time outdoors which is highly recommended by optometrists . Spending at least 2h outside each day is a recommended behaviour for myopia management and eye health.

MiYOSMART Sunbird
MiYOSMART Sunbird provides the option for a fully polarised myopia treatment lens for patients usually interested in having a second pair of sunglasses. This is recommended for patients who spend long periods of time outdoors or play sports in the sun who want another pair of tinted frames.
MiYOSMART Chameleon
MiYOSMART Chameleon is a popular choice for many MiYOSMART wearers as patients can have both clear and tinted glasses all in one without compromising treatment. Chameleon lenses are transition lenses, in which they are clear, regular MiYOSMART indoors and gradually transition into sunglasses when exposed to sunlight. The change to sunglasses is very fast and only takes a few seconds when exposed. When coming back indoors the lenses just take a minute or so to slowly fade back to clear. This is our most popular tinted option especially for those on atropine who want an instantaneous change to sunglasses to protect from intense sunlight.
