Zeiss MyoCare spectacles control myopia progression through the Cylindrical Annular Refractive Elements (C.A.R.E) technology incorporated across the lens segment. This C.A.R.E technology aims to deliver a “stop signal” to slow down progression of axial elongation. (1-3)The lens design consists of alternating defocus and correction zones in a ring-like pattern on the front surface, expanding towards the periphery of the lens. Zeiss MYOCARE lenses are produced in Germany
MYOCARE spectacle lenses are recommended by our optometrists for higher script myopia control glasses as the lenses extend to a 1.67 index.
This increased index allows for thinner lenses for myopic patients which is not prevalent over other myopia control lenses.
Suitable for patients with higher scripts or those who want lighter lenses.
