MONITORING HIGH RISK EYES$160The High Myopia Eye Examination is a 1 hour comprehensive assessment with our doctors specifically for patients with high myopia (prescriptions -5.00 and above as defined by the World Health Organisation). This appointment includes advanced eye health scans and eye length biometric measurements, as well as providing personalised support, vision and management recommendations. Patients with high myopia are advised to select this appointment due to the increased risks of retinal detachment and other eye conditions related to the elongation and stretching of the eyeball from myopia.Including:

By imaging of more than 80% of the retina, this advanced technology can detect, diagnose and record irregularities and changes which can easily be missed in conventional eye tests, while also allowing our doctors to keep a detailed records of your retinal health for future reference. Optos scans are necessary in a High Myopia Examination. Axial length measurement will allow the doctors to measure the eye’s physical growth from the front to the retina. Increased elongation is commonly seen in high myopia patients as the eye has continued to stretch. This measurement is crucial in monitoring and recording any further changes or progression. Results of this measurement will allow the doctor to understand the rate and severity of risk for high myopia patients.

Corneal Topography and Tomography scans will allow the doctor to have imaging of the curvature, shape, and thickness of the cornea. Topography scans measure the anterior (front) surface, while Tomography scans create a 3D reconstruction of both the front and back (posterior) surfaces. These scans are recommended for patients with keratoconus or the fitting of specialty contact lenses. |

FREE YOURSELF FROM GLASSES$150Contact Lens Assessments involve the evaluation and fitting of contact lenses by our doctors for new patients at our practice. This is a 45-minute-long consultation with our optometrists. Consultation fees can range between $40 per visit for existing wears to $150 for new patients through our New Wearer Package. This will depend on the appointment and what is required, as well as being dependent on when your most recent eye test was. A comprehensive vision and eye health examination may be required if you have not been tested recently.We have contact lenses available for patients with high scripts, toric lenses, and multifocal lenses. We also dispense daily, weekly, and monthly lenses as well. We let our patients trial the recommended lenses right after their appointments, usually for a week to make sure the comfort, insertion and removal, and vision is comfortable. |

EARLY DETECTION SAVES SIGHT$150Our Diabetic Eye Examination is an annual eye exam for patients with diabetes. This 45-minute-long appointment will involve dilation drops which will enlarge the pupil to better examine the retina, macular, and optic nerve. We would advise patients coming to this appointment not to drive immediately afterwards as you may experience blurred vision for a period of time afterwards.Including:

For diabetic patients an Optos scan is crucial in detecting diabetic retinopathy, which can cause serious complications such as bleeding, fluid leakage, swelling, and vision loss. This scan also allows your optometrist to keep a detailed record of your retinal health for future reference.

3D OCT RETINA SCANS
High-resolution imaging of the retina and optic nerve to assess nerve fibre thickness and help detect or monitor glaucoma and other retinal diseases.
OPTOS ULTRA-WIDEFIELD RETINA SCANS
Ultra-widefield 200-degree retinal imaging to examine the back of the eye, particularly useful for screening and monitoring peripheral retinal changes in high myopia. This technology enables our optometrists to carefully check the health of your peripheral retina without the use of dilating eye drops.
