Stellest

Innovation in Myopia Control

Explore the benefits of Stellest lenses

Why choose Stellest lenses?

Essilor's Stellest lenses are shown to slow down myopia progression by 67% on average in comparison to single vision lenses, and when worn for 12 hours a day. (1)

The Technology

Stellest lenses use Highly Aspherical Lenslet Target (HALT) technology and incorporates a constellation of 1,021 invisible lenslets onto the spectacle lens. (2) This constellation creates defocus which acts as a shield against eye elongation and, therefore, myopia progression. (3) These myopia control points are located across almost the entire lens, creating a lens which has treatment covering close to the entire surface. This technology creates a shield against myopia progression, providing a comfortable and adaptable form of myopia control.

Stellest lenes should be worn as much as possible, or for at least 12 hours a day. As they provide correction and treatment at the same time it is recommended to wear them constantly to avoid eye strain or fatigue as they still contain your needed prescription.

These myopia control lenses are recommended by our optometrists for newly diagnosed myopic patients, current patients with myopia, or those with progressing myopia.

Stellest 2.0

Picture

Stellest 2.0 was launched in 2026 and is now one of our strongest recommendations for patients needing a stronger myopia control lens option and for those still progressing.

Featuring the new and improved H.A.L.T MAX technology, Stellest 2.0 are shown to slow eye growth for myopic children by 1.88 times in comparison to Stellest 1.0 lenses. (4)

New Benefits of Stellest 2.0

  • Extended power range of +2.00 to -12.ooand CYL range from 0.00 to -4.00
  • 2x the depth of volume of non-focussed light, creating double the defocussed area and providing more treatment
  • Larger diameter of 75mm lenses, creating an additional ring of 169 lenslets
  • Suitable for a range of frame shapes and sizes due to the larger treatment area

Stellest 1.0

  • Extended power range: corrects up to -10.00D. Also corrects astigmatism up to -4.00
