By making a booking at our clinic, please ensure that you attend your appointment on time. You will receive a reminder by SMS 2 days before your scheduled appointment. For cancellations within 1 business day of your appointment and non-attendance, a $50 cancellation fee or rebooking fee applies. This fee is payable via credit card or direct deposit in order to secure a time for a new booking, and will be applied as credit towards products or services at your next visit with us. Should a late cancellation or non-attendance occur for the second time, the rebooking fee paid is forfeited. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please have the courtesy of letting us know at least 1 full business day ahead of your appointment date. This must be communicated to our reception staff via telephone or in person during clinic opening hours. For example, if you have a Thursday appointment, you must inform us before COB on Tuesday; if you have a Monday appointment, changes must be made by the previous Saturday.
Please be considerate for our time and to others who would also like the opportunity to see us. If you have any questions regarding our clinic booking policies please do not hesitate to reach out to our friendly reception staff on (03) 9819 7695.
SATURDAY APPOINTMENTS
As a destination clinic with an international reputation for our experience and expertise in myopia management and OrthoK, we are privileged to look after thousands of patients across Melbourne and beyond who have chosen us for their treatments and ongoing care. Please be understanding that our Saturday appointments are generally reserved for patients requiring timely management of their eye condition: Assessment of new patients, patients with referrals, urgent care, and patients starting eye treatments who need several essential reviews in the early phase of their treatment plan. Routine, non-urgent reviews are scheduled in advance on weekdays. We will do our best to accommodate patients on Saturdays under special circumstances and those who reside more than 1 hour/100km from the clinic, including patients from regional Victoria and interstate. A reservation fee or surcharge for a Saturday consultation may apply.
RESERVATION FEE
Certain appointment types which are more complex in nature and necessitate a longer consultation time — such as comprehensive dry eye assessment, keratoconus assessment, scleral lens assessment and fitting — require a reservation fee of $50 per person, taken at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This also applies to family bookings involving more than 2 appointments on the same day, Saturday appointments, and for patients with a history of non-attendance or repeated cancellations. The reservation fee will be credited towards your consultation when you attend; for late cancellations within 1 business day and non-attendance, the reservation fee is forfeited and will need to be paid again before rebooking.
